The answer always is: Go make it happen!
There’s so many great ideas, there’s way less great executions. Because execution is hard.
I’m a humongous believe that ideas are sh*t and that execution is the game. Everybody’s got ideas. Uber was Magic Cab three years earlier. So Uber existed, it was called Magic Cab. But the guys that executed sucked so they lost.
I used the business world as an example because it’s a great way to see how vital execution is. If you’re not someone who wants to build a million dollar business, what can you take away from this article? Here is is…
Success is simple, not easy. Here are the simple steps to get whatever you want out of life:
- Make a plan
- Execute on the plan
- Integrate feedback into the plan
Everybody does a pretty good job of the first step. Making a plan. Unfortunately step two is where most people are done. They don’t execute.
There’s two types of people in this world: complainers, and action takers. The pathetic complainers do just one thing: they complain. They whine and whine and whine.
Then, there’s the action takers. These are the guys that just take action. They don’t give a s**t if something goes wrong, because they know it’s part of the process. They just get back on their feet, make a new plan, and take action.
So which are you?
