If you know me for real. Like in real life. You might think I am a workaholic. So this begs the question: Is It Healthy?
Because my life is pretty simple. It’s either work, training, school work, with family and I’m working extremely hard to increase the time I chill and relax.
This boils all boils down to just two things. Firstly, there is no worst feeling than the world working and I am not. Secondly it’s because I haven’t picked a ‘normal’ career. As I am not following ‘the system’ this means it requires 10X amount of work.
Now that you have an idea of what my life looks like, let’s answer the most important question of all which is: Is all of this healthy for a 16-year-old?
Firstly let’s get this out of the way: Hard workers keep work in check so they can be available to their family and friends. Workaholics believe that work is more important than anything else in their lives, including family and friends.
So you cannot call me a workaholic because I highly value the time with my family.
I truly belive that if you truly love what you do. And I mean really truly love it. Not lie to yourself. And if it makes you happy it is completely fine. Now I would love to get your opinion on this? What do you think?
