Before I start I want to make it clear: Yes, it’s bad. Yes it’s a tough situation. No doubt about it.
But the truth is whenever you look at anything, you can either find the positive or find the negative. Personally, the lockdown has allowed me to slow down and reflect. It’s truly allowed me to figure out who I am and what I want to do. Take some time to think about it, what positives can you take away from this negative situation?
Developing discipline is important. Developing self-confidence is important. Still, without positive thinking and the ability to see the good in bad situations, I can assure you won’t get far in life.
How do I know that? I’m not a self-help guru or mr know it all. I’m simply sharing my experience. And I found that when you are fuelled by negative emotions and negative thinking, it might be powerful short term but eventually it will come back to haunt you.
So in these hard times, think about what you can be doing at home. Education yourself? Learning a new skill? Reflecting on your life? Starting a side hustle? Instead of reading the news and thinking about how bad everything is.
Try to find the positive in every situation for a week. It will change your life and your happiness levels will skyrocket.
